The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating the successful execution of these high priority, strategic projects and will report into the Program Manager.

In addition the Project Manager should contribute to further improve our business. The projects will be defined per the needs of the business and can have either internal or external goals.

The Project Manager will work with the Management Team to identify the top priority projects that require world class project management to enable the business to be a success. For these projects, the Business Consultant/ Project Manager will take ownership and build the team needed, outline the key goals to be achieved, the plan to achieve them, and will then oversee successful delivery of the results.

  • Facilitate activities across the functional and business teams to scope project, identify resource requirements, articulate deliverables and develop timetables and milestones;
  • Take ownership of the overall project plan, manage underlying project owners, steer and drive execution to the plan on both project and project levels;
  • Negotiating with stakeholders and project teams to ensure the effective coordination and planning of resources for the projects;
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders within the Management Team to plan for synergy achievement and budget tracking;
  • Review data and identify risks that require additional investigation and follow up with the respective business units;
  • Development and maintenance of project plans, work breakdown structures, budget management, reporting, including the completion of robust risk identification, management and mitigation actions.

Wat wij vragen

  • At least 10 years relevant experience, of which 3 years project management, preferably external (strategic) management consulting
  • Affinity with IT projects
  • Experience in holiday business / online activities
  • Hands on, capable to act on own initiative and priorities, able to take leadership in projects, sharp thinking and acting;
  • Proven ability working cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior level management;
  • Stellar communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong personal credibility, flexibility, excellent team working skills and ability to build excellent working relationships across the organization
